"Believer" is a song by the American pop-rock band Imagine Dragons which released on February 1, 2017. The meaning of the whole song is that no matter how many difficulties and challenges in front of us. It cannot stop us from pursuing our dreams. However, in some way, I believe the original album cover did not show that kind of courage. It will affect consumers’ judgments on the content of the song when they buy the album.
The original album cover is the three-dimensional reflective metal view. I hope that through my understanding of this song, I will redesign and transform it into a 2D album cover.


In my design, I kept the color setting of the original cover and added the element of the fist. The fist represents strength and determination which will make people realize that this is full of an emotional and powerful song. Below the fist, I decide to add endless ruins, where it is also understandable as difficulties and challenges.
Therefore, when people see the redesign album cover, the powerful visual and color impact will make people feel and understand the energy and the meaning of this song.

003 CHARACTER & BACKGROUND DESIGN
'001' is a cyborg who abandoned by mankind. Like human beings, she has independent thinking and emotions. The only difference from humans is the barcode and other elements on her face and the battery on her back to shows and identity she is a cyborg.

In graphic design, I visualize the emotions that people may have and put them into different products. When people buy those products in different moods, the emotional visualization on the packaging will resonate with their inner emotions, as to attract consumers to buy.
IDEA
When people are in different moods, their states are different. Show different state and make it watchable is what I want to put in my design.

MAKING THE TEST
Whenever in a different mood, I will draw random lines on the Procreate. Each emotion recorded four times separately and used the screen recording to record the process.

MAKING THE TEST
After the record is completed, I combine it together and paint the place where the line crosses each other, or where it is concentrated, this part is very subjective, but also is part of my emotion. Then I found out that when people in different emotions, the routes that visualize are different.
